Playport at Louisville Waterfront Park Grand Opening

hamplin | EOP was thrilled to celebrate our latest project at the grand opening of Playport at Louisville Waterfront Park in Louisville, KY! This 22-acre park honors the Portland neighborhood’s cultural and industrial roots, transforming repurposed construction and boating equipment into interactive play structures.

With STEM-focused activities such as rope-and-pulley systems, climbing walls, tire swings, and winding tunnels, Playport blends fun with hands-on learning. Educational signage integrated within interactive exhibits, content on how the exhibits work, play prompts, and QR codes that lead to videos developed by the Kentucky Science Center bring science concepts to life, making every play experience an opportunity to explore.

The first phase of construction also features a bike loop, community space, restrooms, and parking—creating a vibrant space for families to learn, play, and connect.
