CMU Fabrication and Construction in Haiti

In 2017, architect Anthony Costello, FAIA received an R&D award from ARCHITECT magazine for his work in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. Part of his award-winning design is based off the academic work from a team of his students at Ball State University, a team our own Madeline LaPlante was involved in!

We asked Madeline how it felt to be a part of a such an impactful design and she said, "architecture is a 'we' profession, not an 'I' profession. It's all about what we do with other people."
