Doug Ignatius is an architect with a special interest in structural engineering. He uses past experience, research and knowledge to develop solutions for clients and is inspired by architects such as Antonio Gaudi and Norman Foster; as their buildings’ aesthetics are a direct result of structural innovation. Doug enjoys design development, whether it be detailing a façade or researching an innovative new product, as well as mentoring Champlin’s co-ops and interns.
Doug is a member of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company Board of Trustees. He is adept at conversational French, having studied in Versailles for an entire year during college. Other interests include cooking, traveling and remodeling his house.
