The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati expands Clippard Branch to create a welcoming environment for wellness initiatives and activities.

This project included the design of a new administrative wing that included approximately 2,000 SF of new construction near the main entry to the YMCA to allow for the existing fitness area to be expanded. This additional fitness space was needed to meet the demand for wellness initiatives in the community. The architectural design was developed to enhance and complement the existing building at this main entry.

Expansion meets demand for wellness in the community

In addition to the new administrative addition a new family indoor water park major addition was designed with a major water slide, lap lanes, current channel and zero entry for young kids and interactive water features. The addition was designed to tie visually into the current main pool with new windows and to the existing locker rooms. The pool has great connectivity with major windows and walkways to the large exterior pool and splash pad. A new parking area was designed with family drop off to increase parking for this growing YMCA branch.
