Involving phased construction totalling more than $100 million, this project includes the addition of a comprehensive Heart Center, Emergency Department, and Outpatient Diagnostics Center. Supporting the Heart Center were hundreds of other structural changes to the hospital that Champlin coordinated to improve patient access, increase capacity and improve staff efficiency. These changes for the Heart Center include an expansion of Central Supply and Sterile Process, Radiology, Cafeteria, ICU, Step-down Unit, Medical Office Space and a Power Plant. The total area of the project affects approximately 250,000 sf of the facility and creates a new standard of care for the regional medical center.
